What Yoga achieves
Back pain and muscle tension are probably among the most common physical complaints that we have due to prolonged sitting at work and insufficient movement in our leisure time. Often, our daily lives are characterized by rapid pace and stress. Yoga offers a wonderful way to counteract this. It allows us to strengthen and stretch our bodies, especially the often neglected fascial tissue. As we focus on the asanas and breathe consciously, our minds find peace and stress can dissolve..
“Yoga is a powerful vehicle for change. As you build strength you start to believe in your own potential.” -Tiffany Cruikshank
On a deeper level, yoga brings the entire system – consisting of body, mind, and soul – back into harmony. It provides you with a space to better understand yourself and your body, leading to inner balance.
In yoga, it’s not about competition or being the best. Rather, it’s about mindfulness, trust, and deep connection that you build with yourself and your body. You will be amazed at the effects that a regular yoga practice can have on you and how you interact with your environment.
My approach
In my classes, I combine strength and calmness – Yin and Yang. I place great emphasis on conscious breathing and movements that seamlessly merge into one another. There are moments to pause and feel what has changed in the body through the sequence of asanas. My sessions offer both active phases for strengthening and passive phases for deep stretching and relaxation. I create a space where participants can explore themselves in the asanas. It is important to me that my students not only follow my instructions but also discover their own practice on the mat. Each session is designed so that participants of all levels can participate by offering various variations to accommodate the needs of each individual.
Do you know such classes?
The group is too large, resulting in a lack of personal contact with the teacher and you feel lost?
There is a lack of explanation about the purpose of the asanas and their possible variations?
Little emphasis is placed on individuality, as all participants are expected to perform the same exercises regardless of their individual needs or sensations?
There is a lack of personal support and corrections during practice, and the structure of the classes is not clearly defined?
Yoga is primarily seen here as physical exercise, with other aspects of yoga being neglected?

Before our yoga session together, I would like to get to know you better. A preliminary discussion, via phone or Zoom, allows us to talk about your needs, concerns, and desires. This way, I can select the appropriate yoga style for you, and you can decide if I am the right teacher for you. Based on our conversations, I will create an individual yoga session for you, which I am happy to provide as a PDF or video sequence so that you can also practice alone.
